Blogging is still a viable way to earn a respectable income online.
Blogging, building a website, creating a brand, niche websites – I am typically using the word blog to mean all of these things.
And college just doesn’t teach it.
And if they do, they don’t move fast enough – they’re too slow.
Sure, blog basics can be learned easily.
But the industry is constantly changing, and you need to keep up your blogging skills.
Ok, so you’re going to start with the best online blogging courses.
With so many blogging courses out there, which one should you choose?
That’s where I come in.
In this post, I’ll take you through some of the best blogging courses available today (I have even personally taken a few of the courses!)
I’m going to assume you probably have at least a basic blog live already, but if not, you should start with our guide on how to start a blog!
Ok, let’s get going.
Quick Note: You can easily get overwhelmed with blogging business courses.
Start with my top 3 below.
Otherwise, grab a cup of coffee and get ready!
Top Blogging Courses To Boost Your Blogging Journey
First, I want to start with the courses that I have personally taken and have 1st hand experience with.
We’ll start with…
Blog Growth Engine by Adam Enfroy
Adam Enfroy, a former digital marketer, started a blog and made $1 million in less than two years.
Whaaa??!?!
I know, right?
It’s no wonder that folks want to learn and apply his methods to replicate his success in some way.
That’s why he started Blog Growth Engine, a course to show today’s online business owners how to rapidly expand their reach.
I took Adam Enfroy’s course and wrote a review on it.
Blog Growth Engine explains how to make content, publish, and earn money from a blog.
The focus of the course is on developing your business acumen rather than your writing skills.
According to Enfroy, if you want to make money as a blogger, you need to be diligent in digital marketing and approach your blog like a business from day one.
The Blog Growth Engine is geared towards blog owners of all expertise levels.
You’ll have something to gain no matter where you are in your blogging journey.
For those who are just starting out with their blogs, the course’s monetization tips will help them turn a profit within months!
Most of Adam’s instruction comes in video form.
He also offers downloadable information and membership to an exclusive group.
Read my review of Blog Growth Engine as a student here.
Or, you can watch my video review if you’d rather! Check it out below…
Fat Stacks Bundle by Jon Dykstra
Fat Stacks is another course that I have personal experience with.
Expert blogger Jon Dykstra has put up a 10-course bundle called The Fat Stacks Bundle.
Over the course of six years, Jon cultivated a portfolio of blogs that generates over $80,000 monthly in revenue, the vast majority of which comes from display advertisements.
His blogging course only opens up a few times per year, but you can take his free course until it’s time to open again!
Through the process of developing his sites, Jon was able to produce a course explaining all the moving pieces of starting and maintaining a niche blog.
This includes on-site and off-site SEO, monetization, and non-Google search traffic via Pinterest.
The Fat Stacks Bundle is a collection of these classes due to popular demand.
Everybody wants to get in on the action!
The ten-course package covers all the topics you’ll need to master to run a profitable blog yourself.
Check out Jon’s free course until his paid blog course opens back up again.
Roadmap to your first $1,000 (by yours truly!)
I mean, of course I have a blog course.
And of course I’m going to promote it!
It’s wise to gain perspectives from multiple angles.
My course assumes that you already have a blog set up.
You probably know the basics of SEO and writing.
But you’re trying to crack that magical code and make your first $1,000 with your blog content.
I can help.
You can find my course over at Destroy the Box University.
Ok, I want to move on to some additional great online blogging courses out there.
I haven’t taken the ones below, but I trust the brands based on my interactions with their brands online as well as feedback from other students.
Let’s start with…
The Affiliate Lab by Matt Diggity
Matt Diggity is the real deal! Just have a quick watch of some of his YouTube vids – you’ll see.
Affiliate Lab, developed by Matt, is a rigorous training program in affiliate marketing.
This course focuses on affiliate marketing, creating niche sites, optimizing them, and making money from them.
Plus, there are more than 24 hours of video lectures that cover a wide range of topics, from choosing a niche for your online business to attracting visitors to your website.
This program is for a certain kind of online marketer: those who build niche websites.
If your goal is to make affiliate websites and rank them using SEO, the Affiliate Lab course is the best choice.
The lessons are fantastic, and there’s even a private Facebook group for extra support.

Authority Site System by Authority Hacker
Affiliate marketing is a great revenue stream for bloggers (it’s one of our main ones).
And Gael Breton of Authority Hacker is also the real deal.
As an affiliate, you don’t have to deal with deliveries and customer service (something I love).
By means of your blog, you drive customers to the businesses. The sellers will then give you a percentage on any sales you help them make.
If you want to build a fresh website, get it to the top of search engines, and monetize it through affiliate marketing, then the Authority Site System is for you.
It’s an excellent training program for bloggers. In addition, you may join their private community.
Over there, you and other members can share insights, learn from one another, and flourish in your shared interests.
The course has no upsells once you enter it, and all updates are provided to subscribers at no extra cost.
Even though I haven’t taken this one personally, it’s definitely on my list of top online courses (due to feedback I’ve heard and their killer podcast).

Blogging for Business by Ahrefs
Ahrefs is a killer software.
It’s probably the best SEO tool in the industry (not including all of the AI SEO tools out there!)
It’s been said that besides Google and Bing, it has the largest bot system on the web to crawl websites for data.
It has powerful capabilities that can help you monitor your site’s growth and figure out what may be dragging down your rankings.
The best part of Ahrefs, though, is that you can take in everything you need to know about using this tool by visiting the website and enrolling in the Ahrefs Academy.
The goal of Ahrefs’ 10-part video course Blogging for Business is to shift bloggers’ attention from traffic generation to lead generation.

SEO that Works by Backlinko
Considering there are over 500M blogs now online, how do you distinguish yourself?
While that figure might seem discouraging, don’t lose heart!
With the help of Brian Dean and Backlinko’s “SEO that Works” online blogging course, even the most inexperienced bloggers may construct high-quality backlinks with ethical strategies.
SEO entails a wide range of technical methods and procedures (there are plenty of courses for SEO as well!)
Analysts estimate that Google makes 500–600 changes to its search algorithm annually.
That’s equivalent to anywhere between twice and three times daily.
However, some of these shifts are significant and may affect the way we approach SEO writing, even while the majority of them have minimal effects on the overall SEO landscape.
If you adhere to the rules set forth by Google, SEO will boost your site’s position on the results page.
But if you put in the time and effort and study SEO well, you will see benefits.
The comprehensive SEO approach covered in Brian Dean’s course includes on-page, off-page, and local SEO.
If you want your site to succeed, you need to make sure visitors can discover it. And Backlinko’s training program will teach you the ropes.
