Is Blogging Dead?
Back in 2010, I started a blog called The Southern Investor.
The goal was to showcase the real estate investing deals I was doing.
Which I did.
However, I figured people would naturally find my website and read my articles.
Again, I was wrong.
I can’t confirm that I knew the term SEO in 2010.
If I did, I’m sure I equated it to strange marketing blog tactics of the time.
It wasn’t until I cruised TikTok (thanks to the pandemic) that I ran across a video about Adam Enfroy and learned about his blogging business.
The post showed him making around $20k a month (funny as he makes well over $100k+ a month today).
Who Was This Adam Enfroy Guy?
That video led me to his site.
It got me reading his income reports.
I admit I have mixed opinions of income reports, but they’re highly motivating overall.
(I remember being motivated by Pat Flynn’s old income reports – this is probably what initially got me to launch that first blog).
The Difference
Adam Enfroy took an approach I hadn’t seen before in his blogging business.
He said, “Bloggers are showing you concepts that are ten years old.
This is the 2020s, man, get with it!”
He treated his blog business like a startup and scaled it as such.
This was something I could understand and get behind.

My purchase was to support Adam’s brand – it was a way to say “thank you!”
At least, that’s the way it started.
Maybe I’d learn a bit to help grow my profitable blogging business.
If it wasn’t for the TikTok video I saw (it wasn’t even his video, and I couldn’t begin to tell you who it was!) I wouldn’t know about Adam Enfroy or his Blog Growth Engine Course.
I would not have the rekindled fire for growing my blogging business (a much-needed spark).
I wouldn’t have crossed 100,000 monthly pageviews.
Wouldn’t have made my first $1,000.
And I wouldn’t have made my first $5,000.

He was physically driving his car around delivering pizzas just a few years back.
I love that he shares that — it makes him even more relatable to the average person (that’s me!)
He launched his blog in 2018.
Once he figured out the recipe for growth, his site took off.
He made over $1 Million in less than two years with his business blog (from ad revenue, sponsorships, and affiliate marketing revenue).

Me neither.

Everyone needs light bulb moments.
If I had to guess, one of his was when he worked as an affiliate manager at Big Commerce in 2018.
Adam saw the side of affiliate marketing that most don’t get to.
He saw affiliates making tens of thousands of dollars monthly promoting that single brand.
I can only imagine this was a significant catalyst for Adam in launching his blog and jumping into affiliate marketing.
He has another branch of his business, teaching others to make money blogging.

Who is Adam Enfroy’s Blogging Course For?
Blog Growth Engine is for beginner blogs and advanced bloggers alike.
For beginners, it starts with a mindset (which I can tell you is crucial in this business).
Blog Growth Engine goes through setting up a blog from scratch.
If you’re a more advanced blogger but not getting the traction you want, it’s also a good fit.
Sometimes, you need the right push or formula to reach the next level.
Sidenote: Are you a course collector? What I mean is…. Do you have multiple courses you’ve purchased but have not gone through? If so, stop while you’re ahead.

They both give overview explanations of the content but dive in with screen share videos.
For example, you can watch an hour-long detailed keyword and competitor analysis video.

What’s remarkable is that they update the course as new information comes, and they expand it.

This is newer content that wasn’t present at the first release of Adam Enfroy’s course.

There’s a solid interactive group where you can ask questions and share wins.
I’ve seen some pretty cool stuff in there.

The group used to be a Facebook group, and then they expanded to Skool.
Facebook was nice, but Skool is great (I never thought I’d say that about a school again!)
While writing this post, I decided to hop over to school.

Coaching is a new item in the course that started in 2022.
It wasn’t even offered when I originally purchased and went through the course!

They also do weekly live calls where you can hop on and ask any questions that you might have.
I was communicating with a member of his team, and he was in the middle of interviewing developers.
Their goal is to offer the service of building blogs for new students coming into the course.
Helping students in this way is quite impressive and next-level.
I haven’t seen other courses come close to offering a service like this.
Who’s Adam’s Blog Growth Engine Course NOT For?
Are you looking for a course to give you the magic answer to blogging without you having to work hard?
Not for you.
Are you unwilling to invest in working consistent hours every week toward growing your blog business?
No?
Then, not for you.
Did you spend money on a college education and not always attend class? (this will be similar; attending class is half the battle).
If that’s you, then not for you.
Do you have the funds to invest in a course like this without going into debt?
No? Then, not for you.
Instead, it would be best to have a hustle or a job (you don’t have to have money to make money, but it certainly helps).

I also think courses can be fundamental for much more than just the information they transfer, including Adam Enfroy’s.
Courses can help you earn belief, build a network, and generate motivation.
In my opinion, these items are infinitely more important than knowledge.
If there are five levels of success in a business, an idea and the know-how are level one.
There’s more elbow grease, learning, and hustle to get to level 5.
So I would conclude by saying that if you’re looking for education alone, then snag it for free on the internet (heck, even I have an in-depth post about how to create and launch a blog).
But this blog course might be a perfect fit if you want the additional push (that belief, network, and motivation).
