After trying out ShortlyAI, or any AI writing tool, I find that it costs me much more time than writing things from scratch.
The main drawback for me is its inability to understand, on a human level, what your prompts are.
It will zero in on one word in the title or description you supply, sometimes not taking in any context.
I know that AI somewhat helps to write a decent article.
But when you play around with ShortlyAI, you’ll still have to do some work to turn the content it generates into something usable.
Should You Use ShortlyAI?
I won’t hold back in this review and admit that ShortlyAI has some drawbacks as an AI writing assistant.
However, you’ll find these issues with any other AI writing aid. It’s an AI problem.
AI is still not at a level where it can completely understand your prompts and instructions.
And due to the often inaccurate nature of machine-generated content, it will all need thorough checking.
The AI behind ShortlyAI honed its writing skills by studying and emulating human text.
The AI cannot tell the difference between what’s real and what’s fake.
We are all aware that content creators frequently struggle with writer’s block.
I can safely say that ShortlyAI can help you out with that.
But only if you know how to “wield its power” and acknowledge its limitations.
