Your chances of getting approved are much higher if your website gets a lot of traffic. If you’re an unknown on the internet, you’re likely to get a lot of rejections. So before you can make serious money with affiliate marketing, you have to build up your online reputation first.

How do you make real money with direct sales?
Succeeding in direct sales is all about building relationships and genuinely wanting to help people out.
Let’s say you’re trying to sell weight-loss products. A distributor will fail if they bombard random people with random information. No one is receptive to that kind of approach, and they will want to be left alone.
A distributor that will succeed will try to build a relationship with an audience. He or she could start an online exercise class or fitness group. Then they could offer their services as a coach or meal planner. Consultation is always going to be free to entice people into joining.

You have to do your research online and go to a couple of trade shows. Again, finding a wholesale supplier is not going to be an easy task, especially if you have a startup business. Just remember that the payoff is excellent when you do find a supplier that’s willing to sell to you.

Let me give you an example. Let’s say you find a pack of stickers for $10 at Walmart. On Amazon, someone is selling the same pack of stickers for $14. So selling that pack of stickers to someone will earn you $4, not including Amazon fees.
The drawback of dropshipping is that it requires a lot of attention. Some products might not be available when you have to place orders. Prices also vary from time to time, which may lose you money. Customers may also feel a bit miffed when they receive a package from Walmart instead of Amazon. They could find out fairly easily that they could have gotten the item cheaper elsewhere.
What products are the most profitable to sell?
Naturally, the most profitable products are the ones with the highest conversion rates. I’m talking about products that will easily convert your audience into sales. Of course, it would be ideal if the products are on the expensive side as well.
To illustrate my point, let’s think about two products. The first product can sell for $100, but its conversion rate is only 2%. The other product sells for $20, but its conversion rate is 25%.
Let’s say you have an audience of 100 people. The first product is only going to get two sales out of the hundred opportunities you have, amounting to $200. The second product is going to get to 25 sales, amounting to $500.
So selling cheaper products isn’t necessarily a bad thing, especially if it has a high conversion rate. Again, the ideal is a product with a high conversion rate and a high price.
What are the best products to sell online?
I would have to say digital products and courses because they’re not available in real life. They also tend to have high-profit margins because you only need to make the product once.
You can create the digital products that you sell. In fact, it’s best if you do so. If you can’t, then find companies that already have products intended for resale.
Offering online courses is an excellent business model because your customers have to pay for classes. You can then sell more products within the classes by recommending them.
