Why:  Dancing is contagious, healthy, crazy, exciting, and just straight Fun
We want to share the vision for this class; we see it as more than just a class that teaches hip hop.

Who:  Anyone that wants to dance — From beginners, to pros, to 2 left feet, to superstars

We would LOVE to have you come and let loose with us.  We would LOVE to get to know you.  We would LOVE to dance with you!

But this is more than just a class — We want to have an IMPACT.

The Vision:

  • To give the children (and adults!) of this neighborhood a safe place to dance and let loose
  • To expose the kids to positive dance music
  • To bring together a diverse group to share the common bond of dance
  • To have a ‘Pay what you can’ box so that no person is denied the fun activity of dance
  • To bring in a local dance crew to perform and do workshops
  • To develop a special local line dance specifically for our city [Mobtown Stomp?] that can be performed in the community
  • To work in conjunction with a local DJ to create the music for this
  • To eventually take part in a flash mob dance locally
  • To increase awareness of the Dumas Wesley Community Center and the services they provide

So come and dance!
And if you can see yourself being a part of the larger vision we’d love that too.

Don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions, ideas, or thoughts!
